The product which is generated with the reaction between Calcium Lignosulphonate(main component of Sulfite pulp waste liquid) and potassium dichromate and ferrous sulfate under certain condition is called Ferric Chomium Lignin Sulfonate (abbravated as FCLS). it is brownish black powder, which is the most used organic viscosity breaking agent, with excellent resistance to salt, calcium and high temperature. when applied as viscosity thinning agent, it can be applied in fresh water, sea water and saturated brine mud as well as ultra-deep well mud.
