Description
The polymer Fatty Acid is usually referred to Dimer Polymeric Fatty Acid, which is a mixture with complicated ingredient and is so named due to the two carboxyl groups contained in the main ingredient. It is inter-polymerized between non-saturated acids, such as Oleic Acid and Linoleic Acid. The Dimer Acid is featured with excellent thermal stability, and can keep mobility within a wide temperature range.
Application:
Currently, the Dimer Polymeric Fatty Acid has been widely applied into various fields such as synthetic printing circuitry board, ink manufacture and rocket generator etc. the dimer acid with higher purity is light-yellow viscous liquid, while the lower purity red brown viscous liquid.
Currently, the plant oil is usually used as the base material to be manufactured into the crude product under high temperature and high pressure with the function of catalyst, and then distilled to get the final pure one.
Since the Dimer Polymeric Fatty Acid is featured with excellent stability under wide temperature range, it has been used as the flow modifier as well as the WBM Lubricant in petroleum drilling and exploration in recent years.
